Fresh from delivering a top of the range car all the way from Las Vegas to Dublin to Conor McGregor (gifted to him by the UFC), the guys here at Spratt Personal Shipping couldn’t be more excited to see UFC 194 in the early hours of Sunday morning Irish time.
McGregor has already made the event the biggest in UFC history before a single punch has been thrown. You can find our guide to watching the fight live in Dublin here. Spratt has grown from nothing to Ireland’s best personal shipping company through hard work, determination and grit, much like Conor went from an apprentice plumber to the world’s biggest name in mixed martial arts.
You can read about Spratt’s growth in our profile of our founder Paddy Spratt from the Irish Trucker Magazine.
Below we chart McGregor’s growth and his history in the UFC up to now.

Marcus Brimage
UFC on Fuel TV, Stockholm.
April 6th 2013
A week after collecting his last social welfare payment, McGregor made his UFC debut in style by stopping Brimage in the first round through a technical knock-out. The fight was over after 1 minute and 7 seconds.
In addition, McGregor won the first big money of his career by scoring the ‘Knockout of the night’ bonus.
Max Holloway
UFC Fight Night, Boston.
August 17th 2013
In his first appearance on American soil in the Irish-America capital of the USA, McGregor rupurted a ligament early on in the fight. Despite the early crippling injury McGregor still won comfortably on the judge’s score cards, although he was forced to go the distance. This remains the only fight in the UFC in which McGregor didn’t perform a knockout on his opponent.
Diego Brandao
UFC Fight Night, Dublin.
July 19th 2014.
The homecoming of all homecomings. A famous night in UFC history as the company finally saw the wild passion and support of an Irish crowd McGregor dispatched the Brazilian Brandao in ease during the first round and famously exclaimed “that we’re not here to take part, we’re to take over!”
The Dubliner also won his first Performance of the night bonus…it wouldn’t be his last.
Dustin Poirier
UFC 178, Las Vegas.
September 27 2014
McGregor’s first ranked opponent and his first appearance at a UFC flagship event came in Las Vegas in late 2014. Poirer, the world number #6, was added to McGregor’s kill list after just 1 minute and 46 seconds. Again Conor won ‘Performance of the night’ and the rest of the world became to realise that he was the real deal. He could always talk the talk but this performance proved he could walk the walk.
Dennis Siver
UFC Fight Night, Boston.
January 18th 2015
Veteran German fighter Siver had the rare privilege of lasting more than one round with The Notorious One, but was easily put away in the second round as Conor picked up yet another ‘Performance of the night’ bonus. Fighting out of Boston for the second time, the UFC once again saw the power of The Fighting Irish.
Chad Mendes
UFC 189, Las Vegas.
July 11 2015
Without doubt, McGregor’s toughest task to date. Chad Mendes is a classy fighter who has been #1 contender on more than one occasion. The American took McGregor down on more than one occassion, but each time the Irishman found an answer for him before delivering the knockout punches late in the second round. By winning, McGregor became interim world champion which sets up this weekend’s clash with Jose Aldo.
