UFC superstar Conor McGregor has rapidly risen to become one of Ireland’s most lauded sporting heros in recent years.
The Dublin native has brought immense joy and pride to the nation through his excellent achievements in the ring.
His sheer charisma and personality have also captured the imagination of the entire nation and launched a wave of sporting hysteria not seen in this country since Jack Charlton’s Ole Ole generation of the early 90’s.
The UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship) is the world’s premier mixed martial arts company which has exploded in popularity over the last number of years in Ireland. Conor McGregor currently holds the interim world title after his outstanding victory over Chad Mendes back in July.
Our Managing Directors Pady & Sam are huge fans of Conor so you can imagine their delight when Spratt Personal Shipping were tasked with handling his brand new Cadillac Escalade in from the United States last week. The car was a gift from the UFC to Conor as a reward for his victory over Mendes in Las Vegas.
Spratt brought in the car through our US based shipping agent who we also represent here in Ireland. We look after all their freight for each customer and we were all over the moon when one of these customers turned out to be none other than the champ himself!
Pady & Sam were on hand to personally deliver the car to Conor who’s next fight is his much awaited grudge match with Jose Aldo on December 12th in Las Vegas. The Notorious One turned up with his girlfriend and fellow UFC fighters Artem Lobov & Gunnar Nelson. Conor later posted an image of himself on Instagram behind the wheel of his slick new machine in our warehouse.
