Labelling
Proper labelling of boxes will really help you and the movers in the long run. It is essential you individually wrap every breakable item and crucially, you should mark these boxes clearly as ‘FRAGILE’. Clothing / Rugs / Paintings
You can source specially sized wardrobe boxes for the transportation of your clothing. This will help to prevent creases. Roll any rugs up to avoid damage. Large upright Grandfather style clocks should be packed by your transportation company.
Other notes
Pack books flat at the bottom of boxes and put lighter items on top to fill the box. Ensure that boxes are not too heavy as there is a danger they will collapse under the pressure.
